A giant crane lifts an Out Islander 64 hull out of the mold at the Camargue Yacht Co., Ltd. manufacturing facility. The hull is solid FRP below the waterline, fiberglass and corecell above the waterline.

The rudder for an Out Islander 64 is all stainless steel 352lbs each; a massively overbuilt component manufactured by Western Branch Metals in Suffolk, VA, USA. Rudders are then shipped to the manufacturing plant for installation.
